Shipping | Local & Overseas Delivery Information
Cyprus Deliveries
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days for delivery.
For orders to be collected from our store, we will telephone you to let you know when your order is ready to collect.
For local deliveries throughout Cyprus, we use Akis Express Couriers. If you have selected to collect from any Akis Express office in Cyprus, delivery takes approximately 1- 2 days. For home deliveries, please allow 5-10 working days. At busy times such as Christmas, home delivery may take longer. If your order is urgent, please select either to collect from our store, to collect from Akis Express, or order well in advance.
Please note that Akis Express cannot deliver to army bases or to villages outside of city centres. If you select home delivery and you are located in a location where Akis Express does not deliver, in this case, we will telephone you and offer to deliver to your closest Akis Express shop.
Akis Express will telephone you and send you an SMS message to your mobile phone when your order is ready for collection.
Collecting from TOYBOX
If you have requested to collect your order from our TOYBOX store, we will send you an email notification to let you know when your order is ready for collection.
When collecting your order, please bring your order confirmation email with you and if you have paid by credit card, please also present the credit card that you used to make the purchase.
Please note that for security purposes, we are unable to release the order without seeing the credit card that was used to pay for the order.
Oversize & Heavy Products
Some heavier or bulkier items may also incur a shipping surcharge and we will inform you of any surcharge before we take payment for your order.
Overseas Deliveries
For overseas delivery, we ship with Cyprus Post standard Registered International Post, EMS Datapost and DHL and UPS Express Couriers.
Cyprus International Post
This service provides tracking and requires a signature upon delivery. From the date of despatch, delivery usually takes approximately 14-21 working days for Europe and up to 15-28 days for outside of Europe. These shipping times are estimated and exclude weekends.
The shipping cost will be calculated and clearly shown to you at the time of checkout.
The shipping price quoted will be for a single carton of up to 30Kg. If the weight or volume of your order exceeds our standard shipping limits, we will contact you before shipping to confirm costs.
EMS Datapost
This a a faster postal service with tracking. Delivery times to the EU are approximately 7-10 working days and outside the EU 10-15 working days.
Shipping Confirmation & Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24-48 hours.
Damages
TOYBOX is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
Import Duty & VAT
International customers may be charged taxes/duties by their local customs office. These charges are outside of our control and are dependent on a range of factors and vary from country to country. To find out more, we recommend contacting the relevant customs authority for your location. These payments are the responsibility of the customer, and TOYBOX will not be held responsible for them.
If you choose not to pay taxes and duties that may be required by your country upon import and your package is returned to us, you will be eligible to receive a refund for the value of your product, minus any shipping fees and any additional charges we may have incurred.
